Thirty years later, Eddie Murphy returns with a sequel to one of his greatest hits and a team of players back almost to the full, with the exception of John Landis to the stage (and this is, without doubt, a great lack of it).
For a good thirty minutes, this comedy takes the road, without, however, recapturing the enthusiasm of the first unfortunately once the son arrives (see the film to avoid spoilers) the film tumbles down a series of gags, frankly, a little happy. And what is unfortunate, is that Eddie Murphy is secondary, because Jermaine Fowler playing his son takes over (the actor without being bad, is not as funny as Murphy), Leslie Jones, who plays her mother, and a character annoying that would happen, Wesley Snipes as a newcomer embodies with flavor, a kind of dictator, eyeing the kingdom of Zamunda (African country-believe, where does the film).
I regret also that Coming to America 2 essentially takes place in Zamunda, and neglects the blow of the Big Apple.
Once they came painfully to the end, it was a sense of the mess so that exactly one of the characters made a note of the action of a film that nobody wants to see.
